Happy New Year Everyone!!
2007 Brings so much uncertainty for the Charlebois family. Stew is planning on going to UVIC in June for school and so that adds a lot of confusion to our lives ( Stew is in school, so I have to go back to work- but who is going to care for the kids etc...) Anyway, we just have to TRUST that it will all work out...it is just hard work waiting!
Jenna is almost 6 months old now and doing things that a 6 month old does. She is now sitting on her own (with a pillow behind her just in case), she is rolling from her back to her front- but not from her front to her back (this is a task that is supposedly mastered between 3-4 months old but she just doesn't want to). She is also eating rice cereal once a day. She thoroughly enjoys this and cries when she is done wanting more. Madeline 's vocabulary is expanding rapidly. After spending 5 days with Emily, we have noticed that she is forming sentences better (just like Emi) She is using 4 and 5 word sentences- but her favorite word still is ........NO. (or nuh! as she says it). She definately has a strong spirit ( must have got that from Stew.......cough cough..... because I was so gentle hearted growing up- In reality so was Stew) so we are still baffled as to where this is coming from...!!!!*(sarcasm*) I just keep telling myself- "she is a precious gift- a jewel given into our trust from God" Oh, did I mention she doesn't want to nap anymore? Yah, it has been tough the last week. I think she is just changing a bit and wanting a "true" afternoon nap. Instead of going to bed at noon, it is now close to 2 or 2:30. I think that we are working it out now (there were a few very trying days in which she did not nap at all! need I say more)
She is a beautiful child though, truly beautiful! Stew and I talk often of how we are abundantly blessed with such wonderful, beautiful children.
