There is an elementary school just down from where we live and we like to go and play on the slides...
Today my parents stopped by on their way to Emi's house. We met them at the park and we played for some time. Stew played with my new toy ( DSLR camera!) and Madeline played on the equipment. She wanted grandpa and grandma to watch her and help her climb around. Grandpa helped her up some rope stairs and Grandma helped her across the "wiggle woggle" suspension bridge and caught her at the bottom of the long slide. As much as I enjoy watching Madeline and her response to her grandparents- I LOVE watching my parents respond to her! My mom often tells me that she has such admiration for her grandchildren (ALL of them... ;) and it is so apparent. I am just starting to understand the love of a grandparent. This love is phenomenal- my mom jokes sometimes that she loves my girls more than I do... she was even willing to wipe "Mr. boogerman" away multiple times for Madeline and put the dirty tissue in her own pocket- now that is love...
Jenna enjoyed the morning too- just hanging out and taking it all in. She was perched in the best place- she could see everything. She could see her sister, dad, grandpa and grandma and had her fingers in her mouth- what could be better?
