My little birthday girl had such fun at her party. We held it a week later than her birthday because the girls were at my parents house for a week. We have been talking about Jenna's birthday for a while and asking J what kind of cake she wanted etc... Madeline would wake up each morning and after nap singing happy birthday to Jenna and asking if the cake was ready. Now that Jenna's party is over, she is asking about her own party. "Is it my birthday tomorrow?" I guess that was a sign that she had fun at Jenna's party! There were 5 kids, 2 little kids and 11 adults. My parents came down from Swansea Point (they brought the girls back) and Stew's mom came down from Trail. I was working the two days before the party and had not even started decorating the cake until the night before. In fact, Stew and I were up until 1 am and it still wasn't done! Good thing I had finished her dress the previous night!
The plan was to have the party out on the deck. It looked like a nice day until the rain came!! It only lasted a few moments so we could move outside later. This was a good move. It would have been very cozy if we had to stay inside.
Our little princess was so excited to see the kitty cat cake that she was bouncing and kicking in her chair and giggling uncontrollably.
We all seemed to enjoy the afternoon! It was fun to see all the kiddies playing with each other. Good fun, Good company!
