Grandma & Grandpa Charlebois

We had guests this last week. Madeline and Jenna were THRILLED to have Grandparents stay at their house. We had a great time playing in parks, walking the dogs and going to the Aquarium. I haven't been since I was a girl. This was the first time for Stew and the girls as well. We had a lovely time with our family!

We're the dancers...

Jenna & Madeline
Jenna and her little friends
Madeline
Jenna's turn
This is an every day occurrence... music or not

The intensity is incredible.
The enthusiasm is unmatched
The pink is.... blinding!
Madeline and Jenna have started Ballet!

Stew and I have noticed Jenna's fluid movements as she swaggers around the house. When you add music be sure to watch Jenna dance around like a belle at a ball. Twirling, hands up-stretched, humming gently to herself "I'm a ballerina, I'm a ballerina, I'm a beautiful princess lalalala..." The rest of the world does not exist to her at that moment.
I was though, surprised by Madeline's agility and ability to be so graceful as she pranced around the room. Maybe it's the tutu, or the shoes...Whatever it is, I have two beautiful princesses.

Happy Mother's Day

Our feet/ Jenna's shells

I didn't really pay attention in church today... we were planning to go to the Ocean. When I hear the word "Ocean", I get distracted, I day dream. I start thinking about the sand between my toes, the smell of salt water and the sea breeze on my face, all the little creatures that I may encounter...

It was the perfect mother's day. Playing in the water with my girls and my husband, watching Madeline and Jenna explore the treasures in the sand and tidal pools and having a picnic dinner. Stew made a special banana upside down cake too. Everyone behaved, everyone had fun, everyone fell asleep quickly after we got home. A superbly wonderful day. Thank you Stew!

Future Crazy Cat Lady...

Making Daddy look pretty!

I actually have a moment to write something down and send off a few pictures. The last several months have been crazy (especially the last) as I am back in school...
What has happened over the last few months:
Jenna is enrolled in preschool for September
Madeline is enrolled in Kindergarten at the same school as Jenna and Emily! (one drop off/ one pick up = glorious)
I was injured in Feb. at work and have had a hard time recovering...
I am in full time school busy changing my nursing focus to perinatal (labor/delivery) WOO HOO!
Stew has been a FANTASTIC man staying home with the monkeys and playing Mr. homemaker VERY well (and still working when he can)
We have started pulling up the nasty plants in our backyard and searching for nicer ones to take their place
Jenna has seen another specialist -this time with regards to her impacted colon...
FUN TIMES...
Anyway, hope everyone is doing well too!!
